HISTORY
A citizen of the planet Glerion in Space Sector 2111, Zuree worked as a professional driver. Her life took a drastic turn when she unknowingly transported passengers involved in a terrorist plot. Despite her claims of being an unwitting participant, she was captured by Green Lantern Oliversity and transported to Oa, where she was sentenced to the Sciencells.[1]
Zuree remained imprisoned for six years until the cosmic entity Relic launched a devastating assault on Oa. Just before the planet's destruction, the Green Lantern Corps released all prisoners to prevent their certain death.[2] Zuree took an escape craft, piloting a group of inmates consisting of criminals from across the universe.
During the flight, it was revealed that several Durlans among the escapees were part of a larger conspiracy to eradicate the Green Lanterns.[3] When the Durlans turned on the other prisoners, the survivors, including Zuree, sought the protection of the Corps.[4]
The prisoners agreed to assist the Lanterns in the ensuing conflict and were formally deputized, though they were not granted power rings.[5] Despite her lingering resentment toward the Corps for her years of imprisonment,[6]Zuree continued to serve as a pilot. She flew a mission to Sector 3189 in a search for the abducted Soranik Natu, though the mission ultimately proved unsuccessful.[7]
Following the conclusion of the conflict, the deputy prisoners were granted full pardons for their service. While many of her former fellow inmates returned to criminal enterprises, Zuree reportedly did not. Her current whereabouts and activities remain unrecorded.[8]
