HISTORY

Data regarding Two-Lobe’s origins remains fragmentary. It is speculated that he possessed a background in law enforcement, having developed a unique psychic ability to extract the thoughts and traumatic experiences of crime victims and project them directly into the minds of their assailants. This capacity to instill profound fear made him a prime candidate for the Sinestro Corps.[1] Two-Lobe was a member of the Sinestro Corps during the period following the temporary disappearance of the Green Lantern Corps. He served under Sinestro as the leader sought to consolidate power via the Fear Engine. This plan ultimately collapsed upon the unexpected return of the Green Lantern Corps. Following this shift in power, Two-Lobe was among the faction that chose to align with Sinestro’s daughter, Soranik Natu, eventually facilitating the release of Guy Gardner to the Green Lanterns.[2]

The Lanterns were soon embroiled in a crisis on Xudar. Believing they were defending the world against a Starro invasion, the Green Lantern Corps and the splinter faction of the Sinestro Corps were both lured into a trap orchestrated by Brainiac and Larfleeze. The collaboration between the two groups of Lanterns proved essential to their escape.[3]

The success of the joint mission led to an alliance between the two Corps. To symbolize this unity ayellow Central Power Battery was constructed on Mogo, placed alongside the Green Lanterns pwn Central Power Battery. [4]

This unprecedented collaboration met with internal resistance. Tensions culminated with the arrival of Sarko, a time-traveler from an alternate future where the Sinestro Corps had ultimately been absorbed into the Green Lanterns. Sarko sought to manipulate the timeline to ensure the erasure of the Green Lantern Corps in favor of the Sinestro Corps. The conflict concluded with the death of Sarko.[5]

The revelation that Sarko was the son of Soranik Natu and Kyle Rayner inflicted an irreparable fracture upon the alliance between the Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps. This discovery quickly escalated into renewed hostilities, culminating in Natu’s departure from Mogo with the majority of the Sinestro Corps.

In the aftermath, Two-Lobe was among a contingent of Yellow Lanterns who declined to follow Natu. Recognizing his service and potential, the Corps formally inducted these defectors into their ranks, where Two-Lobe began his tenure as a Green Lantern.[6]

During a critical threat involving the New Gods, Two-Lobe was tasked with extracting information from a comatose Orion. His telepathic ability to navigate the psyche of a New God allowed the Corps to identify their adversaries and devise a coordinated strategy, which was ultimately instrumental in ensuring the Corps' victory.[7]

Two-Lobe's current status is unknown.
