HISTORY

Thon was a small planet which hosted an Interplanetary Olympic Games. Varal, a prominent scientist drew Superman to Thon to compete against Bronno of Kor and Sharn of Iwo, Due to its small size, Varal advised all contestants would have super powers as they arrived from larger worlds, though Superman unexpectedly found his powers drastically reduced. He later discovered the Stadium of the Worlds, which was built from stones taken from many planets, unknowingly included a block of kryptonite.
