Is Wally West now New 52 Wally?
Reading this issue and DC Universe: Rebirth #1 I can't help but think that Wally West should probably be listed as Wally West (Prime Earth) at this point. It seems to me that we are seeing a situation much like with Flash at the end of Flashpoint where Barry Allen physically changed from the pre-Flashpoint Flash to the post-Flashpoint Flash when he entered the New 52 universe. He doesn't seem to recall the pre-Flashpoint history and believes everything to be as it should be. But just as when Barry entered the Flashpoint universe where his memories slowly seemed to fade so does Wally's upon entering the New 52 Universe.
When he is outside of time (in DC Universe: Rebirth) he sees and recalls his entire history as it was in the post-Crisis Universe. When becoming Kid Flash we see the pre-Flashpoint Flash and Wally seems younger when he becomes Kid Flash than in the second flashback in the same issue. Also in the second flashback the Flash we see is now the New 52 Flash and the Teen Titans are wearing their New 52 outfits as opposed to the first flashback where they are wearing their pre-Flashpoint costumes.
This leads me to believe that when Wally enters the New 52 universe he becomes the New 52 Wally and his pre-Flashpoint memories are replaced with his New 52 history. What do you think?--Tenzel Kim (talk) 11:11, 28 July 2016 (PDT)
I'm not sure, since he was shown as The Flash with Linda. But that may have happened, but was part of the 10 years that was stolen
- That's what I'm thinking. That the Wally as Flash and with Linda part is part of the missing 10 years of the New 52 universe.--Tenzel Kim (talk) 13:31, 28 July 2016 (PDT)
Does New 52 Abra Kadabra (Mr. Hocus Pocus) change to Pre-Flashpoint Abra Kadabra?
The New 52 version of Abra Kadabra was just a regular magician called Mr. Hocus Pocus but something that Lilith did changed him into the normal Abra Kadabra that people know. He says that for one of his tricks he made Wally West dissapear, which leads me to believe that he made Wally go into the bleed (in DC Universe: Rebirth; at least I think it was the Bleed) which also makes me believe he is from the Pre-Flashpoint Universe, and was brought back into the New 52 Universe.
- My thoughts on that is that Abra Kadabra making Wally disappear is the New 52 version of what happened, not what happened to the pre-Flashpoint Wally. Just as Barry Allen told Batman of Flashpoint after having become the New 52 Flash. So just as Flashpoint also happened to the New 52 Flash in some manner, Wally's disappearance also happened to both the pre-Flashpoint and New 52 Wally. In New 52 history it was the doing of New 52 Abra Kadabra, but in the pre-Flashpoint universe it might have been someone else.--Tenzel Kim (talk) 13:31, 28 July 2016 (PDT)
