HISTORY

The Spider-Pirate has been described as the "...rebellious, privileged daughter of Guild-Mother Moha Klipsa..." Driven by a desire to spite her momstress, she abandoned the Spider Guild Nestworld and fled her high-society upbringing to pursue a life of interstellar piracy. She subsequently joined a renegade crew operating under Kommander Kraak, with whom she also engaged in a personal affair. To better adapt to her criminal lifestyle, she underwent a number of body modifications.

In her sole recorded engagement, Spider-Pirate participated in a casino heist on the planet Ventura. This was a diversion to draw attention away while fellow pirates successfully smuggled dangerous cargo through planetary security. The heist brought her into direct conflict with the Green Lantern Corps. During a confrontation with Green Lantern Maxim Tox, the Spider-Pirate managed to bite off the Lantern's ring finger. However, her plans to escape were dashed when she was infected by the sentient virus Green Lantern, Floozle Flem causing sudden drastic physical reactions.

Following her defeat, she was arrested and transported to Oa for formal interrogation by Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and Trilla-Tru. Facing the prospect of a life sentence on Ventura, she ultimately agreed to cooperate with the Corps and divulge vital information.
