HISTORY

Saruun is remarkably similar to Earth, however under a red sun which is blocked by a massive satellite locked in place between the two. The cast the planet in perpetual night. Saruun was one of a number of planets considered by Jor-El as a possible new world for baby Kal-El. In a computer projection, Kal-El became the hero "Diro;" similar to the Batman.
