HISTORY
Pagalus X is a remote, icy world situated on the edge of the universe in Sector 3599. It is the ancestral homeworld of the Pagalusian species and is the home planet of the Green Lantern Palaqua.[1]

Following the fall of the Green Lantern Corps at the hands of the renegade Hal Jordan, the planet was visited by Green Lantern Kyle Rayner during his journey across the stars.[2]

Upon Rayner's arrival, the sight of his power ring struck deep fear into the local population. During this encounter, an elder shared ancient lore with the Lantern, revealing a prophecy regarding the end of the universe at the hands of the fear entity known as Parallax. According to these legends, Parallax had been imprisoned within the Central Power Battery for billions of years, but the entity had recently escaped, marking the beginning of the threat foretold in their ancient stories.[3]
