HISTORY
A group of villains led by Dreamslayer who encountered the Justice League several times leading up to and during the second coming to Earth of the Overmaster. They interrupted a League mission in an unstable nation while Dreamslayer attempted to recruit Bloodwynd, and were later encountered when the League had to deal with an out-of-control cult. The members of the New Extremists - Brute II, Cloudburst, Gunshot, Meanstreak and Death Angel - were then subsumed into the Overmaster's second Cadre.
