HISTORY
Heliopolis is a domed space city located in Space Sector 2814, moored to an unnamed planet by a network of powerful energy beams.
During a complex psycho-drama designed to test the resolve of Green Lantern Hal Jordan, the city was seized by the terrorist Kilobyte. When his ransom demands were ignored, Kilobyte severed the final energy mooring, hurling the city into the vacuum of space. Jordan successfully rescued the metropolis and apprehended Kilobyte, restoring the city's moored state.[1]
