HISTORY

Located in Space Sector 459, the planet Groy was initially believed to be uninhabited. During the Red Lantern Corps "Civil War," Lanterns Bleez and Rankorr tracked the power ring of fallen Lantern Ratchet there, eventually finding a mysterious cabin. Upon entering, they were confronted by their enemies, Red Lanterns Atrocitus, Dex-Starr, and the newest Red Lantern, Klarn who now wore Ratchet's ring. In a selfless act, Rankorr covered Bleez's escape, holding off the trio by himself so she could seek reinforcements.

By the time Bleez returned with Guy Gardner and their allies, the damage had been done. Rankorr was found in a completely feral state, having lost the self-control that once defined him.
