Synopsis: - Batman rescues Stacy and Lieutenant Probson from the sniper - Joker - while Commissioner Akins, Captain Sawyer and the acting mayor attempt to hold a press conference. One of the reporters brings them his laptop, shows them the message from the Joker it contains, and is allowed to shadow detectives Allen and Montoya as the investigation continues. Marcus Driver returns from the hospital, where he has learnt that coroner Nora Fields will lose one of her hands following her injury, and tensions mount among the detectives. Montoya gets a lead on the gun, and suddenly, all their computers display a sickening message from the Joker, including a countdown to the next sniper shot.
