HISTORY

Atticus Blye was a professor with Scotland Yard. During his years of training abroad before becoming Batman, Bruce Wayne, using the alias "Jack", studied under Blye in London. Together with another of Blye’s students, Katherine Lautrec, they confronted the serial killer known as Memento. However, before Memento could be apprehended, Blye was attacked in his home, drugged, and driven insane. Memento then planted evidence against him, leading to Blye's arrest and his commitment to Broadmoor Psychiatric Hospital.
