Owner and President of Bannermain Chemical Company, employer of Rex Tyler, the Golden Age Hourman.

HISTORY

Alexander Bannermain is the owner of Bannermain Chemical Company and employs young Rex Tyler as one of his research chemists. Secretly carrying out his own research after hours, Tyler first compounds Miraclo a formula that temporarily speeds up reflexes and endows the user with super-strength for about an hour before it burns out of their system. Undervaluing Tyler, Bannermain is dismissive of his contributions to the company, but is later bought out by the now wealthy Tyler who renames the company Tyler Chemical Company.
