HISTORY

Adele Drew met her future husband, Ted Knight at a party on New Year's Eve, 1951 at a fragile time in Ted's life. He had just avenged the murder of his girlfriend Doris Lee and had met his future son Jack. They were wed and had two children David and Jack. Developing a fatal disorder, she died when both boys were quite young. Wishing to honor her, Ted funded a wing of the Opal City Art Museum in her honor for her love of art.
