Qard, the Black Flame, represents "Chaotic Action"

Rao, the Red Flame, represents "Restraint from Action"

Sur, the Green Flame, represents "Correct Action"

Aur, the Gold Flame, represents "Total Understanding"

These flames can be commanded so long as the wilder has understanding. Lack of understanding is "Tomar" or an Anomaly.

An "Abin" is an adept, a Guardian or Controller who selects "Ains" or initiates into the Light.
