Synopsis: - The Martian Manhunter is able to prevent his enemy, Malefic, from completely destroying the JLA, and takes extreme action against him by piloting the ancient Martian fortress of Z'onn Z'orr (which he has been using as his base) into the sun, expecting both of them to die. However, Superman is able to pull off a last-minute rescue, although Malefic perishes (probably) in the heart of the sun.
