HISTORY

A young science-whiz in the early 1940s, Stuart 'Atom' Blake was given his amazing powers of mind and physique by his brilliant scientist father. Most of Atom Blake's abilities – super-strength, invulnerability, super-vitality, and advanced intelligence – came from his father's experiments with radioactive metal. Atom also wielded a 'magic' (in fact radioactive) 'wishing ring', the energies of which he could control mentally. Although his father disappeared when he was still a child, Atom made good use of his inventions by fighting crime. His friends Janey Smart and Homer 'Dusty' Davis used to help him out on his cases.
