HISTORY

Enquar is the last surviving remnant of a sentient, hive-mind living ocean that once covered an entire planet of the same name. Many years ago, the Green Lantern Corps brought refugees from the planet Oqo to Enquar to start a new life after they had destroyed their own world. The Oqoans soon began repeating the same mistakes. Their industrial pollution poisoned the living ocean, systematically killing the hive-mind until only a single, concentrated remnant remained. The Oqoans left the dead world, unkowingly bringing the last of the hivemind with them. Enquar found his former life as a hivemind granted him a telekinetic advantage over solid lifeforms, and used this to drain nutrients from various host bodies.

It would take years until Enquar made his way to Oa to exact revenge on the Green Lantern Corps. He allied himself with Fatality, seeing her as another who had lost her world because of the Green Lantern Corps. After years of collecting a massive amount of nutrients through various killings, Enquar returned to his homeworld and revived the ocean with himself in total command. In a final act of war, he propelled the entire planet of Enquar toward Oa.

Enquar successfully flooded Oa, intent on drowning the entire Green Lantern Corps. His campaign was only halted by the intervention of Fatality. Having experienced a transformation through the power of compassion, Fatality joined the Indigo Tribe. Using her new abilities, she defeated Enquar by reducing him back to a small sphere. She now keeps the remnant of Enquar contained within a necklace for safekeeping, preventing him from causing further devastation.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Enquar was a fluid form, able to merge with the bodies of "organics" which he would control and absorb nutrients from. These nutrients were stored to attempt to revive his world. He was also able to probe minds, not needing physical contact to do so.
