History

A Soviet dissident writer, who was imprisoned to keep her from becoming a martyr. Freed against her will by the Suicide Squad, her reluctance to leave the U.S.S.R. resulted in Enchantress losing control, Nemesis being captured by the People's Heroes and eventually her own death as the Suicide Squad failed their mission. Ironically, as pointed out by Zastrow to the Soviet Premier, she would be a stronger voice for freedom with her death.
