  A KGB agent, who was the handler of Pozhar, and whose memorable actions include advising the Soviet premier to send the People's Heroes to stop the Suicide Squad from freeing Zoya Trigorin, reviving Stalnoivolk, and getting him to free Hawk I from captivity under the noses of the Doom Patrol and Suicide Squad, going with one of the Rocket Reds to retrieve the X-Agon Unit from Australia after the Invasion, and being thwarted in his pursuit of Mikhail Arkadin while he was merged with Ronnie Raymond to form Firestorm by Soyuz. Later, organizer of the Soviet Task Force team called the Red Shadows, which first included members of the People's Heroes and Blue Trinity, and later operatives he found on his own.
