History
An extradimensional race of sentient beings consisting of pure energy, the Zarolatts are constantly tormented, abused, and devoured by their tyrant masters, the Macrolatts. One Zarolatt once found its way to Earth and possessed the body of a deceased human. The resulting creature became known as the Weird, worked with the JLI and singlehandedly defeated two Macrolatts who had invaded Earth. Its body unstable, the Weird died a tragic death in a devastating explosion.
