  The reincarnation of a Germanic warrior, Albrecht von Mannheim became the modern Wild Huntsman to fight evil in Germany. He eventually joined the Global Guardians and sacrificed himself in battle against the evil Fain Y'onia. When the villain decided to retreat back to the mists of time, the Wild Huntsman followed him, fighting to the end. Neither has been seen since. The Huntsman possessed superhuman strength, and used an arsenal of magic weapons. He had a black steed named Orkan and a dog named Donnerschlag.
