History

  Two energy-based heroes of the 30th century, Atom'X (Randall Burroughs) of the Uncanny Amazers and Blast-Off (Leroy Drake) of the Work Force, were apparently killed by the sorcerer Mordru, but survived in essence. Some time later, their energies fused and created a new being, first known as ERG-13, and later taking the name Wildfire. (It also uses the civilian name "Drake Burroughs", an amalgam of its former two identities.) Recently, Wildfire joined the Legion of Super-Heroes. The energy-being is seemingly immortal, and a future vision claims that he will re-form the Legion in the 75th century. In the 853rd century, he will apparently evolve into Wildflame, a member of Justice Legion L.
