History

  An investigative reporter and radio personality, Vesper Fairchild came to Gotham City shortly before the earthquake which damaged it so badly. Here, she met and fell in love with Bruce Wayne, though she disappeared from his life soon after the 'quake. Recently, she returned to Gotham City and rekindled her romance with Wayne, but was murdered by David Cain in Wayne Manor shortly after realising that Wayne was also Batman.
