History

  Created by occult scientist Anton Arcane, the Un-Men were artificial pseudo-life forms with monstrous appearance, born in Arcane's attempts to create an immortal and invincible body for himself. The Un-Men loved their creator and mindlessly did his bidding. Arcane himself died later (and eventually came back and reformed), but some of his Un-Men minions are still out there somewhere. Two of the most distinctive Un-Men are/were Cranius (the most intelligent and second-in-command after Arcane) and Ophidian (a reptile-like being with hypnotic powers).
