History

  Tom and his younger brother Dan used to play super-hero games when they were boys, with Tom being the heroic Super Surfer, and Dan the evil Danko Twag. This set the pattern for the rest of their lives, with Tom being a greater achiever in everything. While Dan began drifting, Tom became a successful businessman. Recently, Tom encountered Dinah Lance and Barbara Gordon on holiday and fell first for Dinah and then for Barbara. Meeting up with his brother, he told Dan about Barbara, which set his younger sibling back on a path of villainy which involved both Dinah and Barbara. After an incident in which Dan possibly perished, Tom left Gotham City behind him.
