  Joshua is the son of Travis Morgan, Warlord, and his queen Tara. Abducted as a new-born by the devil priest Deimos, the child grew up under the name of Tinder in the care of adoptive parents, and later had to live as a street urchin on the streets of Shamballah, his rightful kingdom. There he befriended Jennifer Morgan, who, unknowing that they were half-siblings, taught Tinder magic.

  Later, Tinder befriended the beast Chaaka who was possessed by the Evil One, an event that resulted in Tinder being transported to the Wizard World. Tinder grew to adulthood in Wizard World and somehow returned to present-day Skartaris as a minstrel. When Deimos once again returned from the grave, Tinder reunited with Warlord and Tara. He is currently the advisor to Tara in the city of Shamballa. Neither of them is aware that Tinder is in reality the son of Warlord and Tara. Only Jennifer knows that.
