History

  The daughter of Black Lightning, Anissa's metagene manifests itself in the ability to control her density without actually affecting her size or volume. She can thus become incredibly light, or incredibly dense, able to withstand great impact. She agreed with parents that she would not join the world of superheroics until she had graduated from college. She put on a costume and went out to fight the good fight as Thunder the very day after she completed her course. She was a member of Arsenal's new group of Outsiders II until Batman once again took control of the team.
