History

  Originally, the second Tara Markov believed that she was from an alternate future, ruled by the tyrant Lord Chaos, where she joined the freedom fighting Team Titans as Terra II. The Team Titans went back in time to oppose Lord Chaos before he rose to power. When the so-called "Zero Hour" erased all alternate futures from existence, most of Terra's teammates were erased as well. But Terra prevailed, which must mean that she was originally from this world and time. Confused about what and who she was, she joined the New Titans for a short time. Later, she joined Geo-Force, brother of the original Terra, to protect the nation of Markovia. Recently, she took a DNA test that said that she was somehow identical with the original Terra. But Geo-Force, who didn't want to rob her of her own life, lied about the results, leaving Tara free to be herself.
