SWORDFISH AND BARRACUDA

  Centuries ago, an English woman turned pirate named Abigail Kent and an unnamed European swordsman encountered a native tribe that worshipped an alien stone (actually a molten non-terrestrial technological device). The two were branded with the artefact, and, by touching the marks now imprinted on their palms, gained super-powers. Abigail became the aquatic and super-strong Barracuda, while her partner became the Swordfish, able to fly and wielding a cutlass. After a clash with the alien X'ult - who was the source of their powers - the heroes and the villain got frozen in time and lay dormant at the bottom of the sea for centuries. In recent years, Swordfish, Barracuda, and X'ult were all awakened. After an encounter with Superman, Batman, and Null & Void, Swordfish and Barracuda, as well as X'ult, were returned to their own time.
