Profile written by Jim 'Zilch' Doty
Overview
The second of two young Chinese youths who served as sidekicks to the Vigilante. Victor became Stuff after the murder of his brother, Jimmy.
History
Young Jimmy Leong was taken under the wing of Greg Sanders, The Vigilante, after helping him with a case in New York's Chinatown, joining him as a hero and a member of the Seven Soldiers of Victory. Jimmy was eventually murdered by gangster Bugsy Siegel.
While recuperating from the loss of his older brother, Victor Leong came under the care of Greg Sanders. When The Vigilante reappeared, Victor took up the name Stuff and dressed in traditional Chinese garb, as opposed to the westernised dress of his late older brother.
In 1949, both The Vigilante and Stuff were thrown into the past on the last mission of the Seven Soldiers. Both landed in the Old West, where Greg and Vic made their homes and carved out a legend for over 20 years, until rescued by a bumbling Johnny Thunder. (They were to have been pulled back to the present after spending only weeks, not years in the past.) With Greg now retired, Victor quickly acquired a higher education and now administers both the Last Round-Up Restaurant chain and Greg Sanders' movie catalogue.
Powers and Weapons
Neither Stuff possessed any super-human abilities, but both were proficient in several martial arts, including Judo and Hopkido, as well as several kung-fu techniques.
