History

  The uncle of Darkseid and the brother of Queen Heggra, Steppenwolf was once Apokolips' commander in chief. It was Darkseid who tricked Steppenwolf into "hunting" on New Genesis, thereby killing Izaya's wife Avia and instigating a long and terrible war between New Genesis and Apokolips. Steppenwolf was killed by Izaya but was later revived to serve Darkseid. His chief weapons are the cable-snare and the electro-axe.
