History

  A member of the Ludlow dynasty who, like most of his relatives, continued a family grudge against the Shade. A skilled archer, Tom decided to pose as a hero, calling himself the Spider and joining the Seven Soldiers of Victory. In actual fact, he was eliminating his criminal competition and, when discovered by Billy Gunn, killed him and betrayed the Seven Soldiers of Victory in their encounter with the Nebula Man. This Spider eventually met his end at the hands of the Shade. His criminal legacy is continued by his son Lucas.
