First Appearance: Brave and the Bold #28 (February-March 1960)

HISTORY

The first civilian member of the Justice League of America, Snapper Carr (actually called Lucas, his nickname coming from his habit of clicking his fingers) acted as their 'mascot' and did various odd jobs around their headquarters. However, he was tricked by the Joker into betraying the League, and although he realised in time what he was doing he felt terribly ashamed and left them, not seeing any of the heroes for many years. Some time later, when Earth was invaded by an alliance of alien races, Snapper was experimented on by them and gained the ability to teleport when he snapped his fingers - he and other survivors of these experiments banded together as the galactic Blasters for a time, until through somewhat unclear circumstances, Snapper was kidnapped and his hands, and power, removed. Although he regained his hands, his power has not returned. Recently he developed a friendship with the new Hourman and had a number of exciting temporal adventures. He is currently working with the heroes of Young Justice.
