History

  Shakedown was a super-powered mercenary and a member of the Masters of Disaster, who fought the Outsiders, Starman Jack Knight, and Bobo Benetti, among others. He was tremendously strong, almost invulnerable, and could generate powerful vibratory forces. Originally, he had a crush on teammate Windfall, but that diminished after she chose the path of a super-hero. Recently, Shakedown and New-Wave, another of his teammates, kidnapped a child without getting a ransom for it. When Shakedown (apparently) made it clear that he was opposed to taking the baby's life, New-Wave killed Shakedown, drowning him with her water-based powers.
