  Philip Glass was a former Black Op who had once accidentally killed a child in his line of work, and was constantly haunted about it. Recently, Glass and a team of fellow mercenaries were sent by the US Government to Zaire, to save CIA Agent Devilin DuPaul from the revenge of Congo Bill - a renowned safari hunter whom DuPaul had manipulated into betraying Congo's President Patrice Lumumba decades ago. At the end of this encounter, Philip Glass turned his back on the ways of violence, and was apparently offered the power of Congorilla.
