  Arnold Beck was an employee at Kord Inc. who felt mistreated by his employers and became the gimmicked terrorist called Overthrow to rob the company. After a couple of clashes with the Blue Beetle (II), it was revealed that Overthrow was actually an agent of the alien Manhunters, equipped and recruited by them to infiltrate the life of Blue Beetle. After a last clash with Beetle and Mr. Miracle (II), Overthrow was defeated and handed over to the authorities. When last seen , he had emigrated to the "super-villain nation" of Zandia, and was part of their Olympic team in the latest Summer Games.
