History

  Machiste was born in Skartaris and met Travis Morgan when they were forced to be galley slaves on the Gryfalcon. They became friends and were sold as gladiators and were trained by the legendary Shebal. Morgan and Machiste led a revolt of 200 gladiators who gained their freedom and became an army who opposed King Deimos. When Deimos was defeated, Machiste went to the city of Kiro where he was possessed by an axe who attached itself to his arm. Becoming the evil King Kiro, Machiste battled Morgan until his arm was severed, freeing him from the evil entities power.

  After replacing his hand with a mace, Machiste fell in love with the warrior Mariah and the two travelled back in time to the Age of the Wizard kings. They remained there for a time before returning to Skartaris to help them defeat the forces of New Atlantis. When the enemy forces were defeated, Machiste and Mariah returned to Kiro to become king and queen.
