History

  A promising member of the Gotham City Police Department, who made the mistake of embarassing the mayor's wife and was stuck in missing persons for some time, Detective MacDonald also has a secret she needs to conceal from her colleagues. She has psychic powers, which allow her to find things and people which are lost through picking up 'messages' from inanimate objects. After serving some time in missing persons, during which period her father was killed by Two-Face, Josie was selected to join the Major Crimes Unit, the first detective in the unit to be chosen by new police commissioner Mike Akins. After filling in for René Montoya for a time, Josie was partnered with Marcus Driver on the second shift.
