History
It was Jonathan Kent who instilled the moral values into his adoptive son Clark Kent which make him the man he is today. He and his wife Martha are generous, loving souls who mean no-one any harm. Recently, he has suffered a major heart attack (when he thought that Clark, as Superman, had been killed) and perplexing memory loss, the latter perhaps caused by Manchester Black.
