History
Joe Public was a gym teacher interrupted in his quest to shut down a drugs ring by Gemir, an alien parasite. He survived Gemir's attack, gaining the ability to absorb energy from those around him, adding it to his own strength and stamina. He has seen to be both compassionate and intelligent, if a bit rash at times. He has encountered Azrael and Martian Manhunter in his career as a hero, but his recent exploits are as yet unchronicled.
