History

Helen Angelico had begun to make a name for herself 'as a specialist in metahuman medicine' and was on the lecture circuit when she met promising college student Sarah Charles. There was a long-standing rift between the two after Sarah accepted a job with S.T.A.R. and Sarah assumed it was jealousy. In fact, as Helen later explained, she is just of the opinion that the company's approach to science is dubious. Project Cadmus director Mickey Cannon, possibly an old romantic interest of Helen, called her in when Superboy lost his powers and she temporarily accepted the post of genetics head at Cadmus. Possibly, Angelico left Cadmus when the Project went underground. She later reappeared in San Francisco, and was last seen taking care of the meta-human businessman Josiah Power when he had been shot.
