History

  Tom O'Brien, a young man who had to support his mother and brothers, was attacked by the alien parasite Angon. Surviving the attack, he found that razor-sharp spikes and shards now protruded from his skin, and he could fire these at will. A kind-hearted soul, he nevertheless appears intimidating at first, particularly since his radical change in appearance.
