History

  The Dingbats of Danger Street is a street gang of kids in Metropolis’s Suicide Slum, who stay together because they don’t trust adults. Members include: Good Looks, handsome “brains” of the gang; Bananas, a kid who plays out his “geekiness” as much as possible; Krunch, the group's muscle; and Non-Fat, who can eat loads but never gains any weight. The Dingbats has had a few of their adventures recorded, most notably a case when they outwitted the criminals called Jumpin' Jack and the Gasser. Lt. Terry Mullins of the Metropolis Police Department helped them capture the villains.

  Since then, the Dingbats have been observed hanging around the Hero Hotline HQ. When last seen, they competed with the Newsboy Legion for using an abandoned theater as their clubhouse. A third team, the boy millionaires of the Green Team, bought the place and donated it as a youth center for both gangs.
