History

  The Atlantis Chronicles is the written history of Atlantis, starting with the reign of Orin I circa 9600 B.C. (By then, Atlantis had already had an impressive history under leaders such as Arion, buy this past is only briefly mentioned in the Chronicles.) One of the first major events in the Chronicles is the tragic sinking of Atlantis, followed by the the Atlanteans' adaption to life under the sea, their dividing into the city-states of Poseidonis and Tritonis, the betrayals at the hands of Shalako and the mad Dardanus, the birth of the evil Kordax, the (proved faulty) idyllic stories of the Obsidian Age, the travels of the explorer Atlan, the bloody era of Honsu the Conqueror, and the reign of the Queen Atlanna. Past chroniclers include: Albart of Ancinor, Britton-son-of-Cole, Illya, Regin, and Atlanna. The Chronicles were lost for years but quite recently recovered by renowned archaeologist Professor R.K. Simpson. Currently, the Atlantis Chronicles are guarded by Aquaman in his Aqua-Cave.
