History

  An organisation formed by the mysterious Breathtaker, the Assassination Bureau was a well-kept secret until they were hired by the 2000 Committee to kill Firestorm. The Nuclear Man encountered and defeated several of the Bureau’s operatives, including the wind-controlling Stratos, the mind-manipulating Mindboggler, and the shape-shifting Incognito. Incognito was finally subdued by Firestorm and revealed the location of the Bureau's lair. Firestorm invaded their headquarters and fought the combined forces of Breathtaker and Mindboggler. However, resentful of Breathtaker's treatment of her, Mindboggler eventually agreed to help Firestorm take down the 2000 Committee. The Assassination Bureau has seemingly not re-formed since their defeat.
