HistoryAristotle Rodor, called "Tot" by his friends, is a University professor, scientist, and amateur philosopher in Hub City. With his colleague Dr. Arby Twain, Rodor co-developed 'Pseudoderm', an artificial skin that could bond to wounded skin for medical and cosmetic purposes. However, the formula was flawed and proved toxic when applied to open wounds. The two men agreed to abandon the project, but Rodor learned that Twain was attempting to sell it to Third World Nations. Rodor alerted his friend and former student, shotgun reporter Vic Sage, who went after Twayn. To hide Vic's famous face, Rodor suggested him to don a mask of Pseudoderm. The mask concealed all of Vic's features and made him seem faceless. So was born the enigmatic vigilante called the Question, active ever since. Rodor's Pseudodorm formula was eventually stolen by government agents and used by the American spy John Dandy, a.k.a. Yankee Doodle.
