History

  A Hungarian scientist who was kidnapped by Soviet agents and replaced with a doppelganger, Anton Kraft was saved by the Atom (II) in one of the hero's earliest adventures. Years later, Kraft joined several other scientists in creating the human/computer hybrid intelligence called the Gestalt. Linked cybernetically to the Gestalt and each other, the scientists could share their knowledge directly. However, safter the Gestalt had spawned the dangerous artificial intelligence called Humbug, the scientists decided to part from the group-mind again. Anton Kraft has not been seen since.
