History

  Years ago Alice Spencer married star reporter Perry White in Metropolis. Together, they had a son named Jerry. Not until recent years did Perry learn that Jerry was in fact the son of Lex Luthor, who had had an affair with Alice while Perry was working in Europe. However, Alice and Perry decided to remain a couple. By now, they have gone through several crisis situations together, including their son’s death at the hands of Blaze(?) and Perry’s recent battle with lung cancer.
