INFORMATION First Appearance: New Teen Titans Vol. 1 #14 (December 1981)

  The nation of Zandia is a small island and a refuge harbor for escaped criminals. First it was said to be located in the Baltic Sea, but in recent years the island have been referred to as Mediterranean. For centuries the nation was under the control of the Church of Blood, whose reign was finally ended with the intervention of the New Teen Titans. However, villains are still inhabiting most of the island, as witnessed when the nation's leaders recently sent a team of athletes to the Summer Olympic Games.
